Welcome to the free online Excel Data Extractor Tool! This tool allows you to extract specific data points (based on cell addresses and sheets) from multiple Excel files and consolidate them into a single summary sheet.

How It Saves Time

Manually finding and copying specific cells from numerous spreadsheets is time-consuming and error-prone. This tool automates the extraction based on your defined configuration, saving significant time and improving data accuracy when creating summaries.

How to Use

1. Upload Excel Files: Drag & drop or select one or more source .xlsx files.
2. Configure Grid: For each column in your desired summary:
   • Edit the header name (e.g., "Customer Name").
   • Enter the exact cell address in the source files (e.g., C5).
   • Select the correct sheet name from the dropdown (populated from the first file).
3. Manage Grid: Use the icons / / / to save/load configurations, add columns, or delete columns. You can also drag column headers to reorder them.
4. (Optional) Preview: Click "See Preview" to view sample data extracted from the first few files based on your current configuration.
5. Generate Summary: Click "Generate Summary". The tool will process all uploaded files according to your grid setup.
6. Download: A consolidated summary .xlsx file will be generated and downloaded.
