Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SpreadsheetsMapper web application, including the "Excel Data Extractor" and "CSV to Excel Mapper" tools, located at www.spreadsheetsmapper.com (the "Service"), provided by dev_mapper4u ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SpreadsheetsMapper provides online tools designed to manipulate spreadsheet data. The "Excel Data Extractor" tool allows users to pull specific data from multiple uploaded Excel files into a summary sheet. The "CSV to Excel Mapper" tool allows users to populate an uploaded Excel template with data from an uploaded CSV file, generating individual Excel files per CSV row, delivered as a ZIP archive.

3. Use of the Service

• Permitted Use: You may use the Service for its intended purposes of extracting or mapping spreadsheet data as described, in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws (including Philippine law).
• Prohibited Use: You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to: attempting unauthorized access, uploading malicious files or data, infringing on intellectual property, transmitting unlawful or harmful content, disrupting the Service, or using the service for any illegal purpose.
• User Content Responsibility: You are entirely responsible for the data contained within the files (CSVs, Excel templates, source Excels) you upload ("User Content"). You must ensure you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and process this data and that doing so does not violate any laws (including data privacy regulations) or third-party rights. You retain ownership of your User Content.
• No Data Storage: As detailed in our Privacy Policy, we do not permanently store the content of your uploaded files. Processing is temporary. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

4. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or meet your specific requirements. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any generated output files; you are responsible for verifying the results. Use the Service at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, dev_mapper4u shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers (for temporary processing); (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service; (d) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Service by any third party; (e) any errors or omissions in any content, or (f) for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service. We explicitly disclaim liability for any loss or corruption of data in your uploaded files during processing.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of dev_mapper4u.

7. Changes to Service or Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Service shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of the Philippines.
