Welcome to the free online CSV to Excel Mapper! This tool lets you effortlessly map data from a CSV file to a specific Excel template. Create multiple personalized Excel files (like reports or certificates) from your dataset quickly and efficiently.

How It Saves Time

Manually copying data from CSV rows into an Excel template is tedious and prone to errors, especially with large datasets. This tool automates the entire process, turning hours of work into minutes. Improve accuracy and save valuable time!

How to Use

1. Upload Excel Template: Drag & drop your (.xlsx) file onto the left box, or click "Choose File" to select it. Validation (including content check) will run. A confirmation message will appear on success.
2. Upload CSV File: Once the Excel template is loaded, the right box becomes active. Drag & drop your (.csv) data file onto it, or click "Choose File" to select it. Check/uncheck the "CSV has headers" box as appropriate.
3. Map Headers: Once both valid files are loaded, the mapping area will appear. For each CSV header (or column name), enter the target Excel cell address (e.g., B2) and select the target sheet from the dropdown. Use the / icon to toggle between horizontal and stacked mapping views.
4. (Optional) Save/Load Mapping: Use the / icons to save your current mapping configuration for later use or load a previously saved one.
5. Proceed to Naming: Click "Next: File Naming" (this button activates after both valid files are loaded).
6. Set File Naming: Define a pattern for the output filenames (including {index}) and set the starting number.
7. Generate Files: Click "Generate Excel Files". The tool will process each CSV row, create a corresponding Excel file, and provide a .zip file containing all generated documents for download.
